Library Board of Trustees

The Hancock County Library System is governed by a five member Board of Trustees. Trustees are appointed by the funding authorities of the Hancock County Library System, including the Hancock County Board of Supervisors, the City of Bay St. Louis, and the City of Waveland. The Board of Trustees is advised by Haas & Haas Attorneys at Law, Michael Haas, Jr. and Caroline Haas.

The Library Board of Trustees holds its public meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm.

The library system is a central hub in Hancock County and offers patrons a tremendous capacity to be empowered with a vast amount of knowledge. I’m honored and blessed to serve the residents as a Library Board of Trustee in an organization that enlightens the lives of others through services, programs and activities

We’re fortunate to have such a vital and vibrant library system in Hancock County. As a trustee, my aim is to help all five branches continuously improve by implementing the HCLS strategic plan.

Term period: 2021 to 2025

I am proud to play a part in strengthening the Hancock County Library System by serving as a Trustee. A strong library system can build communities by fostering imagination, empathy, and mutual understanding.
